Managing Director of Audit Solutions
About the Role: We are seeking a world-class audit professional with 15-20 years of public company auditing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in auditing standards and SOX Sections 302 and 404. In this role, you will leverage your technical knowledge to contribute to building our leading-edge end-to-end finance technology solutions, working closely with our Technology team in the process. Further, you will help build and lead a team to accomplish the above.
Key Responsibilities:
· Apply your technical expertise in auditing and accounting standards in designing and developing leading-edge technology to be deployed in clients’ audit processes
· Engage with clients and collaborate with our Technology team to identify areas where technology can enhance quality of audit procedures
· Serve as a subject matter expert in auditing standards, providing guidance and insights to ensure that our technological solutions to achieve regulatory requirements
· Conduct testing and validation of the technology, ensuring it meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and repeatability
· Stay current with auditing standards, industry trends, and technological advancements to continuously improve the organization’s capabilities
· Build and lead a team of professionals to engage with clients in order to build end-to-end technological solutions
Qualifications:
· BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is required
· CPA certification is required
· 15-20 years of professional experience in auditing public companies
· High technical expertise in auditing standards—both AICPA and PCAOB standards
· Experience with accounting topics in a given industry
· Strong problem-solving skills with a proclivity for the use of innovative technology
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and teams, including audit and accounting SMEs and technology developers
· A team player who enjoys working with others and thrives in a collaborative environment
· Self-starter with a proactive and adaptive approach to work, capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in one of the Big Four firms’ “national offices” or national quality organizations
